Founded in 2008, Giving Hearts Day is a 24-hour event for charities in North Dakota and northwest Minnesota. Each year, Giving Hearts Day provides a platform for charities to fund their missions through an ever-increasing community of donors, many of whom get to experience the joy of giving for the first time. The longest-running giving day in the country, Giving Hearts Day has helped participating charities raise $226 million since its founding.

Join us in Fargo for a powerful day of learning and connecting with the dyslexia community.

Registration is officially open for the Haley’s Hope Voices of Dyslexia Conference, taking place Friday, October 10, 2025, in Fargo, ND. We would love for you to join us!

This conference is a gathering of educators, parents, specialists, and advocates who are passionate about supporting the dyslexia community. Whether you’re in a classroom, at home, in the field, or living with dyslexia yourself, this event is for you.
Here’s what to expect:
• Expert insight from nationally recognized speakers Marilyn Zecher and Janet Parady
• Evidence-based strategies for reading, writing, and math
• Meaningful connections with educators, professionals, and families from ND, MN and SD
• Real tools that empower you to support individual learning
Together, we will explore how to teach more effectively, reach more deeply, and support every learner with confidence and compassion.

DAY 1

Registration for Day 2: a special small-group session for math educators and parents, on Saturday, October 11th, is CLOSED.

Both CEUs and graduate credits will be available for this conference.  Haley’s Hope will provide clock hour certificates for all attendees at the end of each conference day.

Graduate credits are available through North Dakota Council of Education Leaders (NDCEL) and their partnership with the University of Mary.  Both Friday and Saturday registrations are required for graduate credits.

Registration for both days closes the evening of October 2nd.

Summer Math Bootcamp

GENUINE MATH INTERVENTION, NOT HOMEWORK HELP.

Haley's Hope's Summer Math Bootcamp is a 1:1 math intervention intended for students in grades 2 to 8.  It is self-paced with personalized lesson plans to meet the student's needs.  This bootcamp is perfect for students with a language-based learning disability.  Students increase confidence in general math concepts by building individual skills through our CRA (Concrete, Representational, and Abstract) learning approach.

Summer Academy 2025 - FULL

Our Summer Academy offers intensive academic skill development designed for students with dyslexia entering grades 5-7 who have average intelligence and a healthy emotional well-being.

This academy is designed to:

Enable students to identify and better understand their learning strengths and differences, beyond just reading. They will learn comprehensive strategies to grow academically and personally. This instruction will allow students to be independent, engaged learners beyond the teaching of literacy skills.

Our Summer Academy will be a turning point in your child’s academic abilities, as well as their emotional well-being.

  • Small class sizes (max. of 6)

• Curriculum designed specifically for students with dyslexia

• Multi-sensory mathematics instruction

• Understanding text for note-taking, highlighting, and creating study guides

• Increase written expression skills from sentence to paragraph

• Assistive technology tools utilized across the curriculum

• 1:1 private tutorial sessions for curricula content enhancement.
